[ At first the sharp egde worries him. Is Vax alright? He hopes so. But the rest of what Vax says clues him in and given the fun Vane had this weekend with Daniel he is not against seeing what Vax got planned. So he takes a long drag of the wine, emptying the bottle and tossing it aside as he stands. ]

[Vax had his own fun over the weekend, and it was a small dose of Tanglethorn on the last day that caused this. He liked it, decided he was in the mood for a few days of it, and took more.]
[ Vax must have seriously gotten into the fairy treats. Part of him debates for a second to tell Vax where he can stick those orders, but the rest of him remembers that this is Vax, and is curious about this and how Vax is going to do this. He grabs the tome and then sets off in the direction of the Old Circle.
He actually makes pretty good time to the circle and when he gets there he hunts around for a nice moss patch to kneel on. No need to pick somewhere uncomfortable, then he sets up the tome, video and all, private to vax so the other can see him kneel there waiting.]
Vax saw that on his tome and smiled before tucking it away again and continuing on. Vane would only have a minute or two to wait before Vax arrived in a flourish of wings. He dropped in from above the tree canopy, landing deftly on his feet and taking only a step to gain his balance.
"Just occurred to me this is another thing you didn't know," he said casually, walking toward Vane. "Well, I've got wings. Talk about it later." They were large and black with the oilslick sheen of raven feathers, but Charles didn't get a long look before they seemed to dissolve into piles of feathers that blew aside on some breeze. Vax walked right up, taking Charles by the chin to make him look up.
"This is a promising start," he said. "Good boy." He kissed the pirate hard, biting at his lip enough to make it hurt, if not quite enough to draw blood.
Vane watches Vax with surprise on his face. Wings? Shit that is.. well part awesome part terrifying. He licks his lips to say something but then Vax captures his lips in a kiss and Vane can't help but melt into it a little. He makes a little growl at the bite but he doesn't bite back. Just a little hint of not giving in completely. Vane tastes like wine and smoke, same as usual. He reaches out to pull Vax close against him.
Vax felt that hand grab at his hip and pushed it away. He wasn't about to get pulled around right now. Maybe a little later, once he'd settled himself some, he could get down with getting manhandled exactly the way he told Vane to. Right now, though, he had other needs.
"I know I am," he said, straightening up and running a hand over Vane's hair. "You are very pretty on your knees," he purred, voice dropping low and warm. "All I'm going to ask you to do for me today is listen, and obey. Do you think you can do that for me, pretty?"
Vane pauses for a second, swallowing. This was Vax, Vax he is pretty sure he can trust. And he wants to please Vax even without Grimm's mercy in his system. When his hand is brushed away he pulls it back, instead folding his hands behind his back. Which he knows will only puff his chest out more, making his stretch. There is a hint of hesitation, not of defiance but instead actual consideration before he nods. "Yes sir, listen and obey." He will do his damned best for you Vax.
That was better than Vax had hoped for, and Vane was rewarded with a warm, happy smile. "What a good boy you are, pretty," he said, and leaned down for another kiss. This one wasn't quite as rough, but no less claiming.
When he pulled away this time, he ran his hand over Vane's hair once more, and then stepped back a step, not far, but enough to start undoing his belt. He didn't normally wear much of a belt, but this one was attached to a pouch. It strapped around his thigh, too, and appeared to have a decent capacity. "What will you say if you need me to stop and I'm not stopping? A word that I know to listen for that makes me stop everything immediately."
Vane kisses him back, the happy smile is certainly good and he leans into the touch. Then as Vax steps back he resists the urge to follow and instead watches Vax curiously. Fuck the half-elf looks good like this, he is pretty sure he doesn't fully realize it. At the question, he says the first thing that pops into his mind. "Parsnips." It had been the one that Hawke had taught him when he first had told him about safewords.
A shadow passed over his face at the mention of Hawke, but Vax nodded, pushing the thought away before he could dwell on it. That wasn't important. The only important thing was before him. "Good."
He unbuckled the strap around his leg, releasing the bag so he could hold it up and open it. Out came a familiar red silk rope, one Vane had used on Vax more than once. He let the bag fall to the ground, holding up the rope for Charles to see. "Shirt off," he instructed. "Leave the trousers for now."
Vane licks his lips at the sight of the rope. He had been a little curious about those since they started using the rope. But it is different now that it is out in front of him. He takes a breath and then moves to shed the shirt. There are marks from the weekend's event on his skin. But that shouldn't be surprising, Vane had practically lived in that tent. He folds the shirt and puts it aside.
Then he looks up at Vax, eyeing the rope carefully. Even after the weekend, he had had there was something very intimate about submitting right here where it was just the two of them. In the tent, with Daniel, there had been others all around, people who would break it up if it went too far. Here it was just him and Vax. Can he trust Vax? He wants to. The conflict is obvious on his face, there is a tension in his body that doesn't quite relax.
Vax could see that tension and conflict, and wasn't inclined to push past it. No, it needed to be massaged out or worked around. So Vax set the rope down at his feet, leaving it behind as he walked forward. He picked up Vane's hand as he passed and tugged lightly, guiding Vane to lay back in his little moss patch, then knelt by his head.
"Hands," he said, holding his own out. He moved Vane into position, with his hands up near either side of his head. The position shouldn't be uncomfortable for a long period, but if he were to be tied here, his body would be on display and laid out for Vax's use. Vax made a considering sound and reached to stroke Vane's cheek with his thumb. "Perhaps we'll just try it like this first," he said. "Think you can keep your hands here without being made? If you move or grab, I'll be very disappointed," he warned.
Vane gives him his hands and then moves as the half-elf indicates. He shifts a little into the position. "You can tie me up if you want, I trust you." He licks his lips. "But I will keep like this if that is what you want." He really does trust Vax. And the fact that Vax was willing to change what he was doing feels like evidence that that was the right choice. He leans into the touch, relaxing under Vax's hand.
Vane leaning into the touch made Vax smile, affection swelling in his chest. "You sure?" he asked. "Cause I'd really love to, but it's just as good to make you work for it," he said with a half-cocked grin.
Vane nods. He can see that smile and he only wants to please Vax more. It feels a bit like the Grimm's mercy, but deeper in a way he really likes. "I am not sure I can keep from touching you if you don't."
Vax grinned at that and leaned down for a quick, upside down kiss, then sat back on his heels. "One minute, then." Concentrating, he held his hands over a spot a few inches from Vane's hand. A plant began to grow from the moss, a variety of mint Vax knew to have strong roots. Hopefully, it should make a good anchor point -- strong enough to hold Vane against errant tugs, but not so strong he couldn't rip it from the ground if Vax had a heart attack and died or something.
Satisfied, he did the same on the other side. "I've never actually done this for this purpose before," he said. "But I think it'll work."
Vane looks up at the plant, smiling slightly. Looks like Vax has been picking up a few tricks from his wife, but Vane isn't going to mention her right now. This moment is for them. At least he hopes so. "We can move to one of the trees or a rock or something like that too if that doesn't work."
"Should be good here," Vax said, and got up to go retrieve the rope. He grabbed a second rope from inside the bag and ambled back over, dropping down in a straddle on top of Vane. He tied each wrist to the stem of a plant with one of the ropes, then sat back to appreciate his work.
"Comfortable, pretty?" he asked, bending down to kiss Vane hard again before he could answer.
Vane moans and grins up into the touch. As Vax sits back he can't help but test the ropes. He doesn't pull with all his strength but when he is happy that it is more than just for show he grins. "I would be even more comfortable with your mouth around my cock." He says just as cocky as always, teasing, testing Vax. Seeing if Vax was going to let him get away with it.
Vax smiled down at him, fond, then slapped him across the face without warning. It wasn't hard, probably not enough to hurt, just intended to startle.
"Ooh, look at that," Vax said. "You're even prettier getting that pretty face slapped. Dangerous thing to let me find out," he commented, shifting back. He started to undo Charles' boots at a nice, leisurely pace.
The sound Vane makes is one of surprise. He really hadn't expected that and it is enough to knock the smirk off his face. But then Vax comments hit and he smiles slightly before he hides it in a fake nervous swallow. He isn't the best actor but he can play along. He shifts a little, helping Vax get the boots off. "Yeah? You think so?"
"Mhmm," he said, discarding one boot and going for the other. "Pretty enough to make me think about how bad I could hurt you like this," he said softly. "You're at my mercy, you know. Laid out for the taking." He discarded the other boot and crawled back up so their faces were level again, Vax staying above him on hands and knees as one hand slid down to pet over Vane's crotch through his pants. "I could do anything I wanted to you, pretty."
His low, soft voice seemed to radiate promises both menacing and enticing.
It is easy to pretend when Vax's has that tone of voice, and this time the swallow is way less fake. He struggles against the ropes but not hard enough to pull the plants out. Vax is right though, even if he can pull the plants out, the ropes and the whole damn setting is enough that Vax could slit his throat before Vane has any chance to react. But if Vax was planning that he would not have offered to leave the ropes out. So Vane leans up to steal a kiss if he can, moaning as his crotch gets much-wanted attention.
"Your prize. Or payback for taking your booty?" He can't help but grin at the memory of their time in the tent
Vax allowed the kiss, although he didn't answer the question. He took his hand away, reaching up to instead stroke his palm gently down Vane's cheek, in the same place he'd slapped.
"You're lucky that I don't want to hear you scream for me," he said, moving up so he was standing on his knees over Vane, moving back a little to start undoing his pants. "Not today. You're a very, very lucky boy that all I want is to use you to make myself feel good. Aren't you glad? Say thank you," he prompted.
Vane's eyes close slightly at the stroking, pressing into the touch him a soft sound of pleasure. It is a contrast to the way Vax's words makes his heart race. He licks his lips, looking up at Vax, meeting his eyes with what looks like actual gratitude in his own. "Thank you, Vax." The words are low and honest, and it sounds like he might mean more than just the prompt.
